Yard Laborer

Location: Kansas City, KS, US Job Level: Entry Level Home District/Group: DHO Kiewit Supply Network Department: Administration Market: Corporate Home Office Employment Type: Full Time

Position Overview: As Yard Laborer, you will be responsible for supporting all yard and warehouse activities as designated by the Yard Lead and Material Manager. The Yard Laborer plays a crucial role in ensuring that the yard is firing on all cylinders. This may include preventative maintenance on equipment, checking equipment, unloading equipment/tools, and helping other Associates as needed.

District Overview: Kiewit Supply Network group specializes in providing comprehensive procurement services to clients across the construction and engineering industries in multiple markets, including transportation; water/wastewater; power; oil, gas, and chemical; building; and mining. Our key objectives are to offer clients a world-class service focused on ensuring equipment, materials, and services are consistently estimated and procured at the right price. Location: This position is based out of the Kiewit KC Yard located in Kansas City, KS.

Responsibilities:

• Operate equipment to support loading/unloading activities.
• Process orders per project requests using Wynne System.
• Clean up yard & warehouse.
• Assist in loading & unloading.
• Assist in stocking inventory racks.
• Participates in safety walks and morning meetings.

Qualifications:

• One to three years of experience working in a related area.
• Meet physical work requirements (able to lift 50 LBS).
• Communicate effectively.
• Pass the operator certification test.
• Understands internal operating systems (Rental Results).
• Basic computer skills.

• Work overtime and weekends as required.
• May work at various different locations and conditions may vary.
